The Two Colonels — Summer 2019
Colonel Khlebnikov is trying to get home to his son Kirill through the dungeons of dead Novosibirsk to celebrate the New Year with him.
It´s not easy for a person here. Slime is consuming the tunnels, mutants are attacking more and more often, and the priceless "green stuff" that protects against radiation is running out. In order to save humanity, the authorities are forced to take emergency measures.
Exploring the path and adventures of Khlebnikov in the last days of his life — a year later, Colonel Melnik follows in his footsteps — players will go through a new linear story in the classic Metro setting. They will find new weapons, a deadly flamethrower, cramped locations, and the already familiar incredible tension.
Sam´s Story — early 2020
Sam, a US Marine who served in the Moscow embassy before the bombings, has long dreamed of returning to his homeland and finding his family. In the dark tunnels of the Metro, this seems impossible. But when the Spartan Order learned that Moscow wasn´t the only city that survived the war, Sam´s hopes began to look less foolish.
Sam escapes from the Aurora to find his way to the United States. He finds himself in the tsunami-ravaged harbors of Vladivostok, among the ruins of factories and crumbling residential buildings. To survive and reach his goal, Sam will have to use all his knowledge and skills - the world around him turns out to be much more evil than he expected.
Players will help Sam survive in Vladivostok, and then go with him through the endless wastelands of post-apocalyptic Russia.
